After some discussion, there will be no meetings for the rest of the summer, as many people are travelling (hopefully with cameras!) Regular meetings will resume in September, when we will meet on the 1st at 7:00 pm in Library Meeting Room A.
Jason Soden and Craig McCord currently have a few spots left for a spectacular photography workshop located on the Clover Cliff Ranch, a 3000 acre bed and breakfast guest ranch located in the beautiful Flint Hills of Kansas!! We will photograph cowboys working the cattle, be taken to a bonfire/dinner via horse drawn wagon, and listen to life long cowboy, historian, and educator, Jim Hoy talk about the Flint Hills and the cattle industry. We will have a sunset, then sunrise session the next morning, and end the workshop with a photography lecture/critique over a wine and cheese!
This is a very unique workshop, and the photographs of cowboys working in a Flint Hills setting will make your portfolio the envy of others around you!!!
Click on this link to view details, and reserve one of the few remaining spots!!!
Thank you very much and have a great day.
Our next meeting is Tuesday, June 2nd. We will meet at the Library in Meeting Room A at 7:00 pm. Anyone is welcome to attend.
There will be discussion about a web site that is being designed by some of our members. There will also be a learn and share by John Clayton on layers and masks. Bring your laptop and work along with John on your photo! It should be a great learning experience on a subject that can stump some of us.
